Sitcom的片頭不見得好笑，但是The big bang theory連主題曲都超級好笑的，看到片頭完全不會想快轉。

The Earth began to cool, The autographs began to drool, Neanderthals developed tools, We built a wall (we built the pyramids), Math, science, history, unraveling the mysteries, That all started with the big bang!

歌詞一方面表達科學宅男上知天文下知地理的豐富知識，二方面也唱出了從宇宙大爆炸開始的宅男進化論。(Neantherthals好難發音)

六人行變五個人，咖啡廳變酒吧，雖然有人說How I met your mother有一點Friends的影子，不過Friends人物個性的刻畫還有無所不包的生活瑣事都已經是經典了，HIMYM應該還不到那種程度。

只是HIMYM真的算是近期影集的一時之選呀，雖然到了finale都還沒meet Ted’s wife，編劇拖戲功力一流，但是五個人的小圈圈扯出的愛情悲喜劇也堪稱精彩，只是不知道為什麼五個主要的角色似乎有一半都很害怕給commitment，Ted在這集裡跟Robin說的話就是一個最好的證明。Robin一直不願意跟Ted交往，though he’s a cute architect with an adorable character，但他就是不願意給交往的承諾:

Ted: God, you are so terrified of anything real. It’s like you’re floating on the space. Touch the ground, Robin. Live in the world. Make a mistake. Make this mistake.
